How do I connect to the UNC network?
In order to use the campus network you will need a properly registered and configured Ethernet card or Wi-Fi (wireless) card. Networking cards can be obtained at the RAM Shop in the Student Stores or any electronics retailer. After you get your card, see our Connecting to the UNC Network - Getting Started document for detailed setup instructions.
Networking ports are located in each on-campus residence hall and in all buildings on-campus. See our up-to-date list of Wi-Fi Locations to see if you are near a Wi-Fi zone. We are constantly adding network access as time and funds permit.
