How Do I Print Materials Stored in Blackboard?

Netscape Navigator

1. Position your mouse point somewhere in the text you want to print.

2. Click the left mouse button once.

3. Go to the File menu and choose Print Frame.

4. Click OK.

Internet Explorer

1. Position your mouse point somewhere in the text you want to print.

2. Click the left mouse button once.

3. Either click the Print icon on the browser toolbar OR go to the File menu, choose Print, and click OK.

Printing file attachments

If you're trying to print a document that you clicked on a link to view, such as a Microsoft Word file or a PDF file, it's sometimes best to save the document to your computer and then open and print it outside of Blackboard.

Saving a file stored on Blackboard

1. Return to where the link for the document displays.

2. Position the mouse over the link and click the right mouse button. A shortcut menu appears.

3. If you're using Netscape, click Save Link As... and save the file to a memorable location on your computer. If you're using Internet Explorer, click Save Target As... Note that PowerPoint files saved as a set of web pages can be difficult to print. Ask your instructor if he or she could also provide PowerPoint files in .ppt format for printing.
