If your Onyen password expires, you will be unable to access any services that uses the Onyen for authentication. A list of these services are located in the [ http://help.unc.edu/?id=3248 ] Password Change Checklist.
If you remember your password, you can reset it at [ http://onyen.unc.edu ] the Onyen Services web page. To do so, you would click and then enter the appropriate information (Onyen, current password, new password twice) in the four blanks and click . The new password must be at least 8 characters and contain at least 1 number and 1 symbol. If you do not remember your password, there is [ http://its.unc.edu/itrc/passwdchange.pdf ] a PDF form available on the same page that you can fax for assistance in resetting your password.
