How can I find my IBM model number?

A:

The model number for most desktops are located on the front of the computer. The laptop model numbers can be found on the bottom of the laptop.

If you are having trouble finding this information, visit the [ http://www.pc.ibm.com/us/findpn.html ] Find your model number page on the IBM website. There is an option on this page to "Display my model number" using Internet Explorer.

Warning

The "Display my model number" option has not yet tested successfully with MS Internet Explorer 7, and does not work with Mozilla Firefox.
