How can I configure my Windows 2000/XP computer to automatically receive Microsoft critical updates?

A:

You have two options. Any Windows XP user can setup Automatic Updates by right-clicking My Computer and selecting Properties. Alternatively all faculty, staff, and students running Windows 2000 or XP can utilize our on-campus Software Update Services (SUS). For more information on SUS, please visit http://www.unc.edu/itswin/sus.htm.
