Q:

How do I bounce spam using Outlook Express?

A:

The instructions are the same as for bouncing email with Outlook (see HelpSite document [ http://help.unc.edu/?id=2875 ] Instructions on How to Bounce Email).

Here are specific instructions on how to bounce mail if you use Outlook Express 6:

  1. Select the message in question (click it once to select it), then right-click it. From the pop-up menu, choose Properties.

  2. In the resulting window, click the Details tab. Notice the box labled "Internet headers:". Using your mouse, highlight all the text there, and then right-click on "Copy."

  3. Close the current window. Now create a new message to , and in the body of the message, paste the text you copied a few steps above. After sending the new message, delete the original spam message that is in your inbox.
