 Introduction

Note:

If you are using another Operating System other than Mac OS 9, then visit the document [ http://help.unc.edu/?id=4924 ] Connecting to the UNC Network - Getting Started to select your Operating System or device. Also, if you purchased your card separately, then it must first be installed. Please install the card(s) according to the manufacturer's instructions, and return to this document.

Getting connected to the UNC-Chapel Hill network involves two steps: registering your network card(s) and configuring your computer for the network. If you purchased your card separately, then it must first be installed. Please install the card(s) according to the manufacturer's instructions, and return to this document.

Registering your card(s) on the UNC-Chapel Hill Network helps us ensure network security and keeps anyone not affiliated with the University from using our network.
