Q:

Can I prevent Oracle Calendar users from sending me email notifications when they invite me to meetings?

A:

You can set your scheduling preferences so that your name will not automatically be included in the default list of meeting attendees receiving email notification. However, calendar users can bypass this by manually entering your name in the distribution list.

To set your preferences up this way:

  1. Go to ToolsOptions.

  2. In the Options window, go to SchedulingReceive Notification.

  3. In the Entries you receive section, uncheck the Allow others to notify you of new Entries by e-mail option.

  4. Click the OK button to save your changes.
