Q:

Can I make my schedule available to people who are not Oracle Calendar users?

A:

The Oracle Calendar Web client includes a feature (called Global Agenda Viewing) that enables you to email a URL of your schedule to a person. That person can then view your agenda via the web by going to the URL in the email they received. Those who receive a link to your agenda can view agenda items that are viewable to Public users as identified by the access rights set up for your calendar account but they cannot modify entries.

To enable Global Agenda Viewing, log into the Oracle Calendar Web Client at http://webcal.unc.edu. Click on the Preferences link in the upper right and then click on the Security link. Click the checkbox next to the Allow Global Agenda Viewing option and then click the OK button to save the changes. Once you are back at your calendar in the web client, you will now see a link to E-mail Agenda to a friend. This is where you can send a link to your agenda to someone who is not an Oracle Calendar user.
