I'm a guest in a Blackboard course. I'm having trouble accessing it, its materials or tools. What might be the problem?

I don't see a link for the course.

If the course instructor has already indicated that he or she has given you guest access to the course, submit an Online Help Request . Otherwise, ask the instructor to verify that you have access to the site.

I see a link for the course, but I get an "Access Denied" message when I click it.

Someone with instructor or teaching assistant access to the site will need change the default settings to make the site available to guests .

I'm able to access the site, but the Course Menu is missing links and I can't access any course materials.

Someone with instructor or teaching assistant access to the site will need to change the default settings on the Manage Tools menu to enable guest access to Announcements, Staff Information, and Content Areas.

I'm not able to access the Communication or Tools options

There isn't any way to give guests access to these options without changing their role from guest to student. You'll need to contact the course instructor or teaching assistant about this issue.
