One or more students in my class are reporting that they can't access my course's Blackboard site. What should I do?

1. Make sure that you or instructional support staff working with your course have made the site available to students.

2. Check your site's list of Users to see if the students reporting the problem are listed there. If they aren't, you can either add them manually or simply ask them to try again after the next automated data update.

3. If the student was added manually to the site by you or instructional support staff working with your course, ask the student for his or her Onyen username (not password), and then compare this information to the username listed for the student in the course. Search your site's list of users by last name. If the username listed for the student doesn't match his or her Onyen username exactly, you or instructional support staff working with the course will need to enroll the student with his or her Onyen account.

4. If the student was added with guest access, other course settings may still need to be changed to allow guests access.
