I've been added to a Blackboard site, but I'm not seeing a link for it when I log in with my Onyen and password. What might be the problem?

  • If you've been added with the role of student, it may be the case that the course hasn't been made available to students yet. Try using the Course Search feature under the Courses tab to search for the course. If it's been made available, it will be listed here if you search by department abbreviation and course number. Note that cross-listed courses generally listed with the sponsoring department, so a search that specifies the other departments will likely not be successful.   • Instead of enrolling you with your Onyen account, the course instructor or instructional support staff working with the course may have mistakenly created a user account for you. Ask the instructor or instructional support staff to check the list of course participants to see if the username listed for you matches your Onyen exactly. If it doesn't match your Onyen, ask him or her to use the Enroll User option to add your Onyen account to the course.
