This document describes changes in the user interface of Coeus between versions 3.8 and 4.0. For more information on Coeus, see the document [ http://help.unc.edu/?id=5345 ] What is Coeus (Grant Management System)? .
Coeus users who have worked with version 3.8 should note the following changes. When using version 4.0, users will need to:

Log in with his or her ONYEN instead of RACF;
-
Connect via the Web instead of Citrix;
-
Search using asterisks for wild cards instead of
'like %xxx%; -
use only the 4 digit department number instead of including leading zeroes plus number;

note that some icons on the Toolbar have changed, as described in the following sections.
Changes:

InBox icon looks like a mailbox

Maintain Awards looks like a diamond
instead of a dollar sign

Users icon changed to

Icons for IRB activities added
