Carolina Technology Consultants (CTC)

What is the CTC?

[ http://its.unc.edu/ctc ] Carolina Technology Consultants (CTC) is a cooperative organization of professional computer support providers at UNC-Chapel Hill and is backed by the resources of [ http://its.unc.edu ] Information Technology Services (ITS). The CTC's purpose is to create a forum for problem-solving, professional development, and the sharing of expertise; and to encourage the sharing of information between the central information technology organizations and individual departments.

Membership in the CTC provides access to an active listserv where members can post questions or requests to their peers on campus. In addition, members are eligible to attend any and all programs initiated by the CTC (e.g. special training programs, campus technology updates, technical support resources, subsidized technical training from local vendors).

How do I get started?

Anyone who provides computer support to a University school, department, or center is eligible to become a full member of the Carolina Technology Consultants (CTC) program.

For more information and to become a member, go to the [ http://its.unc.edu/ctc ] CTC web site.
