About
The Knowledge Management Tool (KMT) service is primarily focused on ensuring quality documentation for other services and systems around campus. The KMT allows users to create and maintain documents, to be displayed on the Help site (help.unc.edu) support portal and distributed to other websites.
In addition to maintaining the KMT, the Knowledge Management group provides consultation about effective documentation practices and, in general, tries to promote the fluid exchange of information about ITS services throughout the campus community.
Getting Started
To get started using the Knowledge Management Tool, feel free to request a new user
account by emailing the Knowledge Management group at
<knowledge_management@unc.edu>. Include your Onyen, which will be used for
your login name. Once you are registered, see the [ http://help.unc.edu/?id=6172 ]
Knowledge Management Tool: User Manual for a number of tutorials that will guide you
through the application.
