What is Cable Television?

There are 2 types of cable TV available on the UNC-Chapel Hill campus:

  1. [ http://www.telecom.unc.edu/studenttelecom/cablelineup.php ] ResTV - available in residence halls only

  2. CTV - a campus cable TV system that delivers entertainment and educational programming to academic and administrative buildings of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. CTV offers a variety of channels providing useful educational and informational program content. All multimedia classrooms include the programming available on [ http://www.telecom.unc.edu/services/cable_tv.php ] CTV basic and CTV enhanced.

How do I get started?

ResTV is supplied to all dorm residents. For more information about CTV, visit the [ http://www.telecom.unc.edu/services/cable_tv.php ] cable TV information page.
