Video Conferencing

What is Video Conferencing?

Video Conferencing allows you to engage in conferences and classes with other people across the world, provided that they have compatible equipment. Video conferences can be set up on an ad hoc basis in many classrooms and offices on campus. There are also two dedicated video conferencing rooms in Peabody which may be reserved ahead of time. These services are available to UNC faculty, students and staff for official University business and academic work.

How to Get Started

For information on scheduling a video conference, visit the [ http://hotline.unc.edu/index.cfm?fuseaction=video.home ] Teleconferencing Services homepage .

Hi, This information is out of date. We currently have one room in Peabody (08) that has video conferencing capabilities and is reservable by contacting us (962.6702 or hotline@unc.edu). There are several classrooms that have this ability too, but they are scheduled by the Registrar. Thanks! gina ITS-Hotline
