How to Subscribe to IT Change Notices
There are two methods to subscribe to ITS Change Notices, through an email list or a web feed. Choose your subscription method according to your personal preference and information needs. The email list will focus attention on each individual change through your inbox, which may be useful if you regularly have to act on or respond to IT changes. The web feed is a way to monitor changes as needed with minimal interruption of your regular work (Occasionally there may be ten or more change notices in a day).

Subscribing to the Changes Web Feed
Web feeds, also known as news feeds and RSS feeds, are a handy way to consume information from a regularly updated source, such as a news site. If you are unfamiliar with web feeds, then you may want to read an introduction to feeds.
There are many software tools you can use to read web feeds, from dedicated feed readers to browser extensions. Many browsers now have feed readers built into them. No matter which feed reader you decide to use, all you need to subscribe is the feed URL. The URL for IT Change Notices is:
This feed is actually from the ITS Control Center's Message Center and while it contains all change notices, Control Center administrators also add slightly more information to these messages. In particular this feed groups followup notices together with the original notice, which makes it easier to monitor an ongoing change.
