To get your own [ http://help.unc.edu/?id=5830 ] FACS ID, for authorized use of enterprise applications such as [ http://help.unc.edu/?id=3094 ] Finan$eer and [ http://help.unc.edu/?id=5915 ] WebFOCUS, consult the [ http://its.unc.edu/endm/database_admin/facslisx.html ] List of FACS Coordinators to find the coordinator for your department. You must be a member of the University staff or faculty to have a FACS ID.
If you are unable to determine or contact your designated coordinator, please contact your Immediate Supervisor or your Business Office Manager for assistance.

The info here is too sketchy. I am the FACS coordinator for our dept, but apparently missed some training somewhere and do not know how to access this new system for getting a FACS ID established. I called the help desk and they said I had to talk to the FACS coordinator (me) -- so I am stuck in a loop with no one to ask. I will keep trying, but I suggest you give the help desk an alternative contact if the department's FACS coordinator has questions. Thanks.
