Changing Your Password and Initial Notification in Remedy


 Introduction

To access the Change My Password or Initial Notification form, click either the key icon ( Icon Button ) or use the dropdown menu under UNC ( Dropdown menu ) and the menu item Change My Password/Initial Notification:

 Remedy Passwords

Remedy authenticates users against their Onyen password. Your Remedy password is your Onyen password. Please refer to the [ http://onyen.unc.edu ] [ http://onyen.unc.edu ] Onyen Page to change your Remedy password.

If you would like to maintain a separate Remedy password, highlight the Password field and type your new password. After this, click the Save button to modify the value.

 Remedy Individual Initial Notification

This allows you quick access to the Change My Password or Initial Notification form where you can perform the following functions. These6 are notifications that are sent to the indivdual when a ticket is assigned to the User.

  1. Change your initial notification between Notifier and Email.

  2. Change your contact method between an email address and a pager address.

  3. Change your notification types: long notifications (ideal for an email) and short notifications (ideal for a page).

After making the selection you prefer for receiving Individual notifications, click the Save button.
