Are Wi-Fi networks secure?

A:

No. Next question. Seriously, there are features on the access point and on the wireless client that at a minimum should be used to provide a basic encryption of the data flow and to limit access to authorized users. Even with these features the difference between a wired network connection and a Wi-Fi connection is similar to the difference between registered mail and a postcard.
