First, move any data that you can to the D drive. Some programs such as filesharing software and iTunes will save files to the C drive. See the Help files for the individual program to see how to change the default save location.
You can uninstall any programs that you are no longer using. You can remove programs easily by going to the and choosing .
You can also run Disk Cleanup to remove any temporary files (Open , Right-click on the → → ).
Finally, you can then run the disk defragmenter ( → → → → ) to reorganize the hard drive more efficiently.
