How to Clear Web Browser’s Cache and Cookies

Internet Explorer

Click Tools from the menu options in the upper right of the Internet Explorer

browser and select Internet Options

In the Browsing history section, click the Delete button

Place a check mark in the boxes next to Temporary Internet Files and

Cookies.

Click the Delete button

Click OK

Firefox for Windows

Click Tools from the menu options in the upper left of the Firefox browser

and select Clear Recent History

In the Time range to clear drop down, select Everything.

Place a check in the boxes next to Cookies, Cache, and Active Logins in the Details section of the window (Click Details drop-down arrow to expand, if necessary).

Click the Clear Now button

Macintosh

Safari

Click Safari from the menu options in the upper left and click Empty Cache

Click Empty

Firefox for Macintosh

Click Tools from the menu options in the upper left of the Firefox browser

and select Clear Recent History.

 

In the Time range to clear drop down menu, select Everything and place a check in the boxes next to Cookies, Cache, and Active Logins in the Details section of the window (Click Details drop-down arrow to expand, if necessary).

Click the Clear Now button at the bottom of the window

 

Google Chrome

 

Click the Menu button on the upper right side of the browser window.

Point to Tools and click on  Clear Browsing Data…

Select the checkboxes for the types of information that you want to remove. Also, select beginning of time to delete everything or, choose another time frame if you want. Click the button when ready to clear the browser.
