freetds is a set of libraries for Linux that allows your programs to natively talk to Microsoft SQL Server and Sybase databases.
If you have not already done so, install the its-release package that grants access to ITS’s yum repository.
Then install as follows:
% sudo yum install freetds-unc
Files are installed in /opt/unc.
1. The latest version available is freetds 1.00.41. Vendor release date: May 18, 2016.
This package can be managed using the lpm command.
% lpm load freetds
will set the PATH, LD_LIBRARY_PATH, and MANPATH environment variables so that the freetds binary, libraries, and manpage can be accessed.
