Remedy AR System Crystal ODBC
When running the 7.1 Windows client with Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7 32bit, the Remedy Crystal ODBC needs to be configured to pass credentials to the AR server. This allows the integrated Crystal reports to be displayed in the built-in Remedy Crystal viewer. Such a report is the Preview Ticket Summary in Request for Service. Follow the steps below to configure the System and User DSN settings.
In Windows, go to Start> Control Panel> Administrative Tools> Data Sources (ODBC). Under the User DSN tab you should see the AR System ODBC Data Source. Double click or single click and click the Configure button. Make sure that AR Server is remedy.unc.edu and your User Name is your onyen.

Repeat the process on the System DSN tab.
For Windows 7 64bit
Go to C:\Windows\SysWOW64 and right click on odbcad32.exe and run as administrator to be able to configure the ODBC Driver.

Then click Add the ODBC Data Source by double clicking the AR System ODBC Driver.

Add the AR System ODBC Data Source Name, the Remedy AR Server name and your user ID (onyen). (see image below) Click OK and then do the same thing for the System DSN settings.
