IMPROV Testing Environment – Claiming your Testing Environment username and password

This document does NOT apply to anyone wishing to change his/her Onyen password.
If you wish to change your Onyen password for use with tools outside of IMPROV TESTING, please visit Onyen Services.

What is the IMPROV Testing Environment?

The IMPROV Testing Environment is used by various departments to test features of the IMPROV user interface.  Upon first use of the Testing Environment, a user will need to claim his/her username.  Claiming a username follows the same process that a user would use to create an Onyen.  The only difference is the URL (web address) of the site.

The following steps contain information regarding how to claim your Onyen and reset the password for use with the Testing Environment.

*Please Note* Having an Onyen does not entitle a user to use the Testing Environment. You must CLAIM your already existing Onyen in the Test Environment by following the steps below.

Access the Onyen Claim website by visiting: https://itsappsspt.unc.edu/improv/
